Abraham Lincoln's
Enslavement of the States
Steven Spielberg is winning accolades with his movie about Lincoln, but in freeing the Slaves, Americans have enslaved their States.
In replacing one level of immoral corruption, a much larger immoral corruption was began.
Section 2 of the 13th Amendment to free the slaves, gave the federal government the power to do so.
Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
As it does in the 14th Amendment, which goes much, much further -- by empowering the federal government -- to rule over the States in all issues of the Bill of Rights, so long as there can be found even the most tenable instance of it related to discrimination against the Constitutional rights of federal citizens.
No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
How does Congress enforce "the equal protection of the laws"? By unequally giving blacks, Hispanics and women jobs in affirmative action programs, even when the State has nothing to do with a private company's hiring.
Every Constitutional Amendment since then has also given the federal government the responsibility to enforce the Amendment.
The worst being the 17th Amendment which stripped the States of all remaining power in the federal government.
Before Lincoln, blacks were slaves and whites were free.
After Lincoln, we are all slaves.
