Dr. Ben Carson
The Director of Pediatric Surgery at John Hopkins University is Benjamin Carson and he has made some powerful arguments.
Please Question Lawyers!!!
DR. CARSON: Some people say, 'but you’re a doctor and you’re a surgeon, you should be sticking to that.'
Five physicians signed the Declaration of Independence
and were involved in
the framing of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
And no one goes up to a lawyer and says why are you getting involved in this, that and the other thing
Look what we got with doctors in charge writing our Constitution, as opposed to what we get with lawyers writing our laws today.
The MOST important point Dr. Carson FAILED to make in this otherwise fabulous statement is that people SHOULD be asking why a band of lawyers are getting involved in writing our laws!
How many times has this site stated the all lawyers should recuse themselves from writing all law?
The argument for a Separation of Powers was the very foundation of the Constitution.
A lawyer President, lawyer Senators and lawyer Judges all work in unison in violation of the Constitution!
We need more doctor politicians like Dr. Ben Carson, Dr. Rand Paul and Dr. Ron Paul.
God is fair asking 10% of Everyone!
A profound statement saying that God did not expect someone making a lot of money to pay more than 10% to help the needy, and just as profound, God did not let the poor off the hook by saying that they are allowed to pay less than 10% of their income to help people whom are more poor than even they are.
Our Founding Fathers would agree that a Biblical interpretation of the Constitutional authority to "give unto Caesar" would be the best approach.
Indeed, while Jesus said to give Caesar what Caesar needed to run his government, the point Caesar starts to give away that governmental money to others at the request of the ones receiving the government's money, then this becomes a violation of the Ten Commandments against theft.
DR. CARSON: What we need to do is come up with something simple.
And when I pick up my Bible, you know what I see?
I see the fairest individual in the universe, God, and he's given us a system.
It's called a tithe.
We don't necessarily have to do 10% but it's the principle.
He didn't say if your crops fail, don't give me any tithe or if you have a bumper crop, give me triple tithe.
So there must be something inherently fair about proportionality.
You make $10 billion, you put in a billion. You make $10 you put in one.
Of course you've got to get rid of the loopholes.
Some people say, 'Well that's not fair because it doesn't hurt the guy who made $10 billion as much as the guy who made 10.'
Where does it say you've got to hurt the guy? He just put a billion dollars in the pot. We don't need to hurt him. It's that kind of thinking that has resulted in 602 banks in the Cayman Islands.
That money needs to be back here building our infrastructure and creating jobs.

Health Savings Accounts
Neither Obama nor Hillary knows as much combined about healthcare as Dr. Carson does, and he agrees that Obama/HillaryCare is going the wrong direction in fixing our health care system.
Dr. Carson on HSAs
DR. CARSON: Here's my solution:
When a person is born, give him a birth certificate, an electronic medical record, and a health savings account to which money can be contributed -- pretax -- from the time you're born 'til the time you die.
When you die, you can pass it on to your family members, so that when you're 85 years old and you got six diseases, you're not trying to spend up everything.
You're happy to pass it on and there's nobody talking about death panels.
Number one. And also, for the people who were indigent who don't have any money we can make contributions to their HSA each month because we already have this huge pot of money.
Instead of sending it to some bureaucracy, let's put it in their HSAs.
Now they have some control over their own health care.
How refreshing is that!!!
The antidote to big government.
