Ten Commandments
"For Jews Only?"
I was raised to believe that the Ten Commandments just about summed up everything I needed to know about my religion.
That was what society emphasized over and over. Sure there was the occasional movie about Jesus, but wasn't Charlton Heston grand in Cecil B. Demille's The Ten Commandments?
The Ten Commandments were the concept unifying Judaism with Christianity.
Simple enough concept: First part true religion, that is - "Worship God in Heaven" in the way God wanted to be worshiped and Second part, the Golden Rule, that is - "Treat all people on Earth" the way God wanted them treated.
I watched the Cecil B. Demille movie about Moses every year and the movie concluded with the delivery of the Ten Commandments, but like all married couples know about romance movies, the implied concept of "live happily ever after" at the end of the movie is only the start of discovering what it really takes to live happily ever after.
I knew that Jesus Christ established the new covenant upon God's people and he had expectations upon His followers, but the political environment in America was to pretty much forget everything else and have the Ten Commandments as the sole guiding basis of life in America.
The Ten Commandments was a unifying moral code both the Jews who ran America and the Christians whom they led could agree on.
Except, it appears Jews are only held to the Ten Commandments of treating THEIR GOD and THEIR PEOPLE by such laws.
Jews probably would agree that a God having a Son named Jesus Christ, is probably not to be worshiped by Jesus-denying Jews. That would be blasphemy to a Jew.
Likewise, for Christians, following a God who did not have a Son would be blasphemy.
Right away, on the religious part, Jews and Christians are worshiping a different God.
And looking further into Old Testament Scripture, with a grownup mind, I am not of the conclusion that Jews are bound to treat Gentiles to the standard of the Ten Commandments.
In fact, they look a lot closer to Islamic beliefs than to Christian beliefs.
Islam may indeed be the "religion of peace" only if you are a Muslim mingling with other Muslims, but certainly not if you are around infidels where you are expected to declare war upon the infidels and slaughter them.
Thou Shalt Follow the Commandments
except for the entire country of Canaan
The Promised Land was the nation of Canaan before it was Israel. After God commands the Jews to not steal, God tells the Jews to steal the lands of Canaan from the Canaanites, so it will become their Promised Land.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: Command the children of Israel, and then shalt say to them: When you are entered into the land of Canaan, and it shall be fallen into your possession... -Numbers 34:1-2
God says to make Gaza-style refugee camps for any Canaanites who dares to defend his homeland.
Determine what cities shall be for the refuge of fugitives, who have shed blood against their will. -Numbers 35-11
Moses repeats the Ten Commandments, which include...
Thou shalt not kill
And thou shalt not steal
Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbor
-Deuteronomy 5:17-21
Following the repeat of the Ten Commandments, when against non-Jews, God commands the Jews, saying...
Thou shalt kill the current inhabitants of the Promised Lands by showing no mercy
Thou shalt steal the Promised Lands from the current inhabitants
Thou shalt falsely accuse every woman of the current inhabitants of being guilty of raising her son against the will of God should she marry an Israelite.
Thou shalt destroy their religion (Do we presume this does not include Christianity?)
[1]When the Lord thy God shall have brought thee into the land, which thou art going in to possess, and shall have destroyed many nations before thee, the Hethite, and the Gergezite, and the Amorrhite, and the Chanaanite, and the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite, seven nations much more numerous than thou art, and stronger than thou:
[2] And the Lord thy God shall have delivered them to thee, thou shalt utterly destroy them. Thou shalt make no league with them, nor show mercy to them:
[3] Neither shalt thou make marriages with them. Thou shalt not give thy daughter to his son, nor take his daughter for thy son:
[4] For she will turn away thy son from following me, that he may rather serve strange gods, and the wrath of the Lord will be kindled, and will quickly destroy thee.
[5] But thus rather shall you deal with them: Destroy their altars, and break their statues, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven things.

Much has been said about Sharia Law allowing for Muslims to lie to non-Muslims.
Much has been said about Sharia Law demanding Muslims to kill non-Muslims.
Much has been said about Sharia Law commanding Muslims to steal of the lands of the infidel.
But what about Jewish law?
Let's take the commandment of "Thou shalt not kill".
Obviously no one believes God meant to not kill animals for food or in self defense from a lion or wolf. God even allowed sacrificial killing of innocent animals like lambs.
Many are saying that the word "kill" is not an accurate translation. The real word is "murder". Hence we can kill in self defense and as God prescribes If any man strike with iron, and he die that was struck: he shall be guilty of murder, and he himself shall die. - Numbers 35:16
However, from the massive genocide of the Canaanites committed by the Jews in the name of God, it appears that the commandment of "Thou shall not kill" extends to Gentiles.
And if Jews are allowed kill Gentiles, then it naturally follows that they are also allowed to lie to Gentiles, to steal from Gentiles, and to covet Gentile's wives, lands, ox, cart and all that belongs to them.
In conclusion, it appears that the Ten Commandments are looked upon by the Jews as only applicable toward a fellow Jew.
So it should be of no surprise to see Jews making "lustful" x-rated movies using Christian actresses and selling the porn to Christians.
It should be no surprise to see Jews "stealing" funds from Christians in Ponzi schemes or other financial scams.
It should be no surprise to see Jews "lying" to us about things like the Holocaust or lying by omission about the Holodomor.
It should be no surprise to that Jews have no remorse about the "killings" of Christians in the Holodomor, the Red Scare, the Stalin Show trials, the Gulag concentration camps, or the Stalinist purges.
It should be no surprise to know that the Jews have no remorse over "assassinating" JFK or the Russian Christian Czars.
