Mention to someone, "Persecution of the Early Christians", and what visions would normally pop into mind are scenes of Christians being fed to the lions in a Roman Coliseum.
Indeed, it is true, for once early Christianity started its glorious spread outside the Holy Lands, the Romans became alarmed (often at the insistance of the Jews) and started persecuting Christians.
But what about the time period BEFORE Early Christianity spread out of the Holy Lands?
Do you remember from reading your Bibles how these earlier "early Christians" were persecuted and by whom the persecution was done?
The religious persecutions of Mary, John, and even Jesus was not at the hands of Romans -- but Orthodox Jews.
Orthodox Jews who would defiantly and steadfastly refuse to recognize the Son of God as even a good man, let alone as the Messiah or even the Son of God.
These early early Christians were not yet calling themselves Christians -- they were calling themselves -- Messianic Jews.
And as you will find out in this story, not much has changed in the last 2,000 years in the "Judeo-Christian" land of Israel.
This is the story of Muslim-style persecution today in Israel -- the exact same culprits -- the exact same victims.
The Muslim Brotherhood
During the so-called "Arab Spring" we just witnessed, dragging out into the "Arab Summer", the Jewish media-Scribes focused all eyes on the overthrow of leaders in Egypt and Tunisia while there are still on-going civil uprisings in Bahrain, Syria, and Yemen. Meanwhile there were major protests in Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, and Oman.
Of main concern was the increased power base of the Muslim Brotherhood in the aftermath of these demonstrations, and what it meant for Israel.
The Muslim Brotherhood is an ultra-conservative Muslim group whose intentions are to impose Sharia Law upon Muslims in accordance with their strict religious beliefs. And by the way, our Jewish media-Scribes want you to know -- while not being at all sympathetic to the plight of the Judaic religion.
"Judeo-Christians" across America, at this courteous reminder by the media-Scribes implores, are to express horror that Muslims are now following their religion much closer.
Why...they may even persecute Egyptian Christians! Surely you Christians want to lend your support to us and our friends in Israel, don't you? After all, we are all in the same boat here.
The Jewish Brotherhood
Then over in peaceful, God-blessed Israel, there is a corresponding, and little known -- Jewish Brotherhood -- which translates back into the Hebrew name of Yad L’Achim.
This Yad L'Achim Jewish Brotherhood is a hard-line Jewish ultra-Orthodox group in Israel who singles out for harrassment -- their own Israeli citizens -- known as Messianic Jews.
The Jewish Brotherhood are notorious for their intolerance, brutality, and religious persecution of their fellow citizens in Israel.
Behaving somewhat toward Christians like their next door neighbors, the Muslims, behave toward Jews.
Among their long list of notoriety against Messianic Jews are:
You will not see this Jewish version of a neo-Nazi group headlined on the front page of the New York Times.
The Jewish Brotherhood molests, attacks, persecutes, kills and burns down Churches with near impunity. Yet no mass-media outlet in America will touch it.
These Jewish thugs will never see U.S. bombs dropped on their heads.
This Jewish mafia will not have U.S. drones monitor their movements.
Jews who believe in Jesus (i.e. Israeli Christians!) (i.e. Israeli citizens!) have no one but Jesus to help them and to give them condolences, for unfortunately, there is a never-ending truth. -- Ignorant American Christians will continue to "see no evil", "hear no evil" and "speak no evil" when it comes to Israel.
As for Isreal, I hear that their top tourist attraction is the Via Dolorosa, barbaric scene of the cruxifiction of the supreme leader of the Messianic Jews.
